Shindi: Houses burnt Again

05Feb09

In a continual pouring  caste-hatred out, where even Police administration failed, Dalit lives are put at stake. They left with two options: Either obey the dictates of castiest supremacy or die at their will, is a message that passes thru every village in Beed District.

In a most horrendous incident, Dalit family in Shindi is torn apart by burning the houses early morning.  A factory of terror is here, Beware educated dalit families!

Two houses belonging to Dalits (borther of Diksha)burnt in night at 3.30AM on 5 Feb 2009. This is more shoking as the vilage is still under police protection. Police did nothing, but became lame spectators.
It is learnt that SPMM activists informed police station at Kaij and lodged a complaint (includes FIR) under the Prevention of Atrocity act. Even after that the Police action is shamelessly ZERO.
In a civil society response, a larger demonstrative Beed i.e. ‘Rasta Roko’ was organised today. Our correspondent reports participation from multiple organisations from all walks of life that includes primarily Blue Organisations.

Lets see what action does ‘SLEEPING’ Administration take. No surprises, if it places an easy option of terminating Dalit life at the hands of castiest mob, and watch dastardly the defeat of  constitutional rule and progressive values.
