A comment: A history

Mr. Mari Suresh comments on the research article ‘Caste based Discrimination &  Economy’ published on Atrocitynews.  He takes a historic view in devolving the caste virus and its genesis. Readers if like to evaluate the stand, please write back:

Sir/Madam,

The practical reality is more harsher than what you have written in the article. People from the lower castes who are well educated (E.g. Doctors, Engineers ) with lot of knowledge and talent are discriminated in the jobs in terms of promotion, recognition and so forth. Often times people from the so called lower castes are targeted to be punished by higher officers from so called upper castes by unduly charging them under corruption, inefficiency, harsh censure and negative criticism. Many lower castes people that live in cities lie to their neighbours that they belong to a higher caste to avoid censure and discrimination.

Now-a-days caste discrimination has migrated to the US, Canada and other Western Nations as a result of huge migration of the Upper Caste people from India to the Western Countries. The discrimination that happens in the US and Canada is so well done that a Westerner will not recognize it. These upper caste people identify their Caste people using their surname (which is a synonym for their caste name) and help each other in jobs, promotions etc. Caste associations like Brahmin, Iyer, Ayer, Iyengar, Sharma, Jain, Gupta, Naidu etc operate in low profile in US and Canadian cities to propogate and help their caste agenda!.

History was changed by the upper caste people to their advantage. Please review http://www.mallar.org for some details on the topic.

Best Wishes
Mari Suresh

  1. Can Mari Suresh elaborate on this paragraph.
“Now-a-days caste discrimination has migrated to the US, Canada and other Western Nations as a result of huge migration of the Upper Caste people from India to the Western Countries. It sounds as if whole US is in the grip of upper castes and they are controlling the shots here. Can he name one upper caste person that has any position whatsoever in top Government positions ? Where is the discrimination that he is referring to ?
