Candle March: Pune Saffron Street ,6.30

06Oct07

The Buddhist Monks from different traditions started gathering in front of statue of Dr Ambedkar, Father of Modern India  on MG Road Pune. The monks were in their Saffron Robe that gave the distinct peaceful identity to the March proccdings. Pune streets felt touch of serene calmness even if hearts were filled with wet emotions for the suffering people and monks of Burma.

Monks took in thier hands the Five-Color Dhamma flag, which was seen by the people crossing them with awe as this could have been the rarest peace candle March in the city of Pune.
