‘Free Burma’ support: Candle vigil in Mumbai

Forum for Solidarity for People of Burma (Mumbai)


Now its turn of  FSPB, Mumbai to arrange a watchful candle vigil in the thick of the city to indicate support and solidarity to the people of Burma who are trying to bring peace and democracy in Burma. It is to condemn the atrocities committed by the Military Junta on the people, Buddhist monks and peace activists in Burma.

As concerned citizens of the largest democratic country in the world, Mumbaites should  indicate symbolic support to peaceful democratic movement in Burma and implore the Indian Government to support the Pro-democracy movement in Burma.

The candle vigil is on 6th October 2007. The a peaceful gathering is requested at FLORA FOUNTAIN, FORT, CST, MUMBAI main quare . The vigil will begin at 6.00 pm. The peaceful vigil will include silent sitting and chanting.
